Delta Mod. LF 350

Models LF 350 and LC 400 are made from the same materials as models LA 300 and LB 300, the only difference being that they have a column arm designed to ensure maximum rigidity of the wheelhead. The rotary table, available only for model LC 400, is driven by a two-speed motor, which enables the table to rotate at 20 and 40 RPM. This table is supported by largely sized adjustable bearings. Vibration-free rotation of the table is ensured by the fact that drive is taken from the motor by means of V-belts. 

A graduated handwheel actuating a couple of helical gears is used for the vertical adjustment of the grinding wheelhead. One revolution of the handwheel gives a vertical movement of 2 mm. 

Like all DELTA production models, these grinders are equipped with a vertical fine feed control, which engages and disengages via a pawl device located on the handwheel drum, allowing direct readings of 0.01 mm. These models are complete with electrical equipment and motor, as well as a wet grinding unit and electric pump. 

The standard equipment also includes the cup wheel holder or, alternatively, the segment holder with one set of grinding segments, the diamond holder excluding the diamond, the table guard, the operator's manual, and the servicing tools. Model LC 400 is equipped with a permanent magnet chuck, 250 to 400 mm in diameter. 

The following accessories can be supplied on request with model LC 400: electro-magnetic chucks complete with switch and automatic downfeed of the wheelhead graduated in 0.01 mm.
