AF inachine has 10,000 rpm direct spindle in standard, also has belt driven 8,000 rpm and high speed 12,000 rpm direct driven spindle and high torque gear spindle are optional available. AF-610 model shown with optional accessories X, Y axes high feedrate up to 48 m/min. Extreme wide Y axis travel to provide sufficient working range.

The robust and closed type spindle head inc. mechanism and spindle feed mechanism. The nose-type spindle head design improves cutter access to the work pіece, assuring consistent cutting with minimum spindle extension. The spindle head moves accurately on the column, being guided by Linear Roller Guideways. The colunm is mounted and fully supported on the carriage of the X axial bed and contains the
mechanical counter balance for the spindle head. Also carries the exchange mechanism. The cast iron stress relieved bed carries the saddle on six pad bearings and the stationary column. No outriggers are used. The table is fully supported over Z travel The S series spindle is driven by a variable speed AC motor through a gear drіve which is mechanically shifted in two speed ranges. Super-precision, double row cylindrical roller bearings and angular thrust bearings support the spindle. The FM series spindle is driven by a built-in stator and rotor.
All spindle bearings are cooled by the temperature control system.
The spindle nose internal oil jacket and the main motor mount incorporate a circulating chilled oil system to block any heat transfer, which virtually eliminates thermal displacement.
