Cabe Stozzatrici Srl is part of the major BR1 Group, a producer of machine tools and a leading company in the sector of mechanical processing, CNC machining, sheet metalworking, and dimensional verifications. Founded in 2000 by only two people, today the group counts nearly 100 employees and 40 work centers, joining under the same roof different brands and businesses.  

POLICY OF DIVERSIFICATION  
Following a policy of diversification, BR1 Group incorporates the historical Italian companies Cabe, Nesi, and Manaca. In 2016, a new technical and commercial division opened in Germany with the purpose of developing broaching and keyseating machines. Highly specialized know-how and years of experience in different, though complementary, sectors are united in one group with specific knowledge in every field of application.  

CONSTRUCTION OF MACHINE TOOLS  
From projecting to realization, all the components are produced internally in our establishments. Today, the group works with passion and commitment to bring innovative solutions, to meet market demands, and to take the production of machine tools to new heights. In 2004, Cabe joined the BR1 Group. With renewed enthusiasm, the brand became an increasingly rich and stimulating company, both culturally and technologically. The product range is reinforced by the introduction of brushless technology with electronic control. In 2011, the first vertical slotting machine with 4 controlled axes was launched on the market. The company Manaca, specialized in broaching machines, joined the group in 2014. Managed by the German technical division EKM Engineering, Manaca is today characterized by high quality and offers a wide range of vertical and table-up broaching machines for internal use.  

EKM Engineering is the German division dedicated to the development of keyseating and broaching machines. The German engineers, thanks to years of experience in projecting machine tools, are collaborating with Cabe's technical offices, guaranteeing functional design and high performances.

TECHNICAL DEPARTMENTS  
The machine tools are designed by the technical department, composed of engineers with multi-annual experience in the construction of machine tools. As part of the technical offices, a department is dedicated to the development of the software. We program the control systems ad hoc for every single machine.  

FULL PRODUCTION  
All the parts that compose our machines are produced internally in order to achieve the best quality and to reduce the final costs. Besides the important assembly department and the technical design offices, the group also includes milling, turning, welding, and sheet metalworking departments.  

QUALITY AND SERVICE  
We provide personalized support that begins during the phase of development and construction of the machine and continues over time, guaranteeing quality assistance even in the post-sale period.

MECHANICAL CUSTOMIZATION  
Special machines capable of particular processing are requested. Our technical department is always at disposal for analyzing the kind of processing requested and hence propose the right solution or, in case a standard machine does not fit, study a tailor-made machine to satisfy the request.  

CUSTOMIZATION OF THE SOFTWARE  
The department exclusively dedicated to the development of the software programs the control system based on the type of machine and its use. In this way, every single machine is constructed with a control system developed ad hoc in collaboration with Fanuc that supplies the hardware and the motors of the CNC machines.

THE RANGE OF SLOTTING MACHINES  
A rich and varied range of products that meets the needs of clients from all over the world. From the manual vertical slotting machines to the most innovative electronic control solutions with up to 5 axes. The machines are unique because of the construction in cast iron fusion that ensures cutting precision and no vibrations, normally the weak point of the machines built in welded steel.  

VANGUARD MACHINES  
To improve the quality and the performance of the machines, studies and projects, Cabe are continually looking for innovative solutions and materials. The programming of the slotting machines and the user interface have reached maximum levels in the recent ST CNC with up to 5 controlled axes: the set-up of the machines is very fast, the cutting speed is constant, and complex machining processes are allowed, such as conical, blind, and helical slots.  

SLOTTING MACHINES  

UNIQUE SOFTWARE  
The CNC slotting machines are equipped with FANUC controls and motors. Our software department develops in collaboration with FANUC solutions that permit the programming and perfect realization also of very complex tasks. In the ST CNC versions, the traditional rod-crank system for moving the tool has been replaced by a servo-controlled linear axis which guarantees a constant cutting speed, optimizing tool life.  

A RICH LINE OF TOOLS  
Each slotting machine is characterized by a wide range of accessories, including the line of slotting tools studied by Cabe and the fixing and replacement systems of the tools on the machines, patented by Cabe. The technical team studies the types of processes necessary for the client and provides the most suitable custom tools for the material or the cutting speed required. Combined with the toolholder block with high repeatability, the tools are always positioned at the center of the hole.
