Numerical Control Automatic Miter-Cutting Band Saws  
From a width of 400mm (16 inches) to over 1500mm (59 inches), all of Cosen's swivel machines allow precise and accurate miter cutting. The machines are designed for cutting structural steel such as H/I beams, pipe, channel, and angles. Where angle cutting is required, specific models have the ability to either single or double swivel plus straight cut. This range of machines is available as a manual, semi-automatic, or NC/SNC-20 automatic. Angle cutting to 60 degrees in either direction is available.  

Models such as C-500MNC, C-650MNC, C-600DMNC, C-700DMNC, and C-800DMNC use Smart NC-20 SNC20 technology, providing most of the benefits of NC-controlled saws at a mere fraction of the cost. SNC20 controls are programmable for 20 different jobs, including quantity and length of cut. The control automatically compensates for kerf loss after data input and requires no manual calculation of the number of times to index. The control also automatically shuts down the machine, blade motor, and hydraulics once the programmed number of cuts or an out-of-stock situation has been achieved. The system includes an error feedback function enabling rapid troubleshooting through an error code displayed in the event of a malfunction.  

The CNC-800DM allows the ability to store and execute cutting lengths and angles up to 45 degrees forward and 60 degrees backward. The saw can reach an accuracy of +/- in angle and repeatability of +/- 0.004 in length.  

Semi-Automatic Miter-Cutting Band Saws  
All Cosen swivel machines allow precise and accurate miter cutting. Swivel machines are available in manual, semi-automatic, automatic, and SNC-20 series. Machines are available in capacities from 250mm (10 inches) to over 750mm x 1500mm (59 inches). Miter cutting up to 60 degrees in either direction is available.  

Canted Frame NC Automatic Straight Cutting Band Saws  
The SH-700F, SH-760F, C-760FNC, and SH-1000F have a standard design specifically for cutting structural steel such as H-beams, I-beams, channels, profiles, and more, ensuring the best cutting conditions.  

Manual Miter-Cutting Band Saws  
The SH/MH-460M features a heavy-duty swivel frame and bed miter design with a capacity of 250mm (10 inches). Key features include this robust machine, which is ideal for use in mass production environments as well as tool room applications. The specifically designed bed and swivel frame allow for easy and accurate angle setting.  

The SH/MH-500M, a large-capacity and compact-sized machine, needs relatively small space when compared to machines with the same capacity (330mm, 13 inches). The SH-500M features hydraulic lifting of the saw frame and full-stroke hydraulic vise. These features enable semi-automatic operation to securely hold the workpiece, cut, and return the saw frame to a preset work height. The large, heavy-duty trunnion and swivel lock mechanism allow up to 60 degrees of mitering capability. Both models are excellent choices for diverse job shop needs.
