CyTec CyMill G30 2Axis NC universal milling head

CyMill CYTEС S Y S T E M
Machining Head Series G30 45 Universal
The heavy milling head series G30 in 45° execution is designed for applications in heavy-duty machining, utilizing the advantage of flexible positioning under 45 degrees as an important criterion.

Application Areas:
5-axis machining in the aircraft and automotive industries, as well as standard applications in tool machining, milling, drilling, grinding, etc.

Key Features:

Patented dynamic direct drives in all axes developed by CyTec.

High-capacity axis clamping: Hydraulically operated clamping bushes generate effective, high-rigidity brake action around the entire circumference of the rotor.

Highly precise CyTec axial and radial bearings.

Prepared for different control systems: Siemens, Heidenhain, Fagor, NUM.

Powerful spindles with integrated planetary gearing:

Standard or high-speed applications in direct drive i=1.

Rough machining with engaged gearing i=3 with torque values up to Nm.

Options:

Automatic head docking with integrated indexing, media, and energy couplings.

Attachable fixed heads in vertical or 90° design as an alternative to the swiveling A-axis.

For A-axis positioning an a6solute value measuring system is used whose hollow shaft is connected directly to the centring of the C-/A-axis rotor.
Desígn: The graduated disk ís rígidly affíxed to the hollow shaft. The scanning unit rides on the shaft on ball bearings and is connected to the housíng with a coupling on the stator side.
The safe dockŕng and locking of the head/spindle is а enabled by the hydromechanical CyTrac ciamping systems E Q э with preload. The systems are inegrated in the C-axis
swivel housing and couple the corresponding bolts of the head A-axis duríng the feed process.
For the transmission of iiquid and gaseous media coolant, hydraulic, pneumafic , quick coupling systems are used, leakage free, very compact with high volumetric o flow rates. Thanks to the integrated offset and angle compensation ít is possŕble to countervaii production tole
 rances and inaccuracies during joining.
