The superb capability of flexible machining and the ball screw spindle cooling system is excellent. The spindle can realize strong-power cutting. The two-step speed changeable, high-speed, high-power internal electric spindle is not only capable of high-speed, high-power cutting, but also capable of low-speed high-torque cutting MDH50/65/80/1005/125.

The full-mechanical-cam system ATC assures high-speed, accurate tool changes and offers high durability. Combined with the high operating speed of the automatic shutter, the ATC completes a T-to-T process in seconds. The cassette-pot magazine flexibly adapts to system expansion and boasts a top-class tool weight-handling capacity of 25 kg maximum. The variable-speed ATC function changes heavy tools smoothly, while the single-motor system assures complete synchronization of the tool clamp/unclamp operation and high-speed ATC operation.

The direct-turn APC mechanism is designed for lifting and rotating and provides better load capacity. The APC adapts to a multiple APC system, thus providing added flexibility in future system expansion and line configuration.

The machining center is configured with a thick-wall box and high rigidity. While expanding the thickness of the machine body and column and improving the rigidity, the deformation caused by thermal change is controlled to a minimum, ensuring high precision over long periods.
The configuration of the X-axis (moving the column left and right) and Z-axis (moving the table forward and backward) is compact, occupying 30% less space than the previous machining center. It is suitable for machining automobile engine cylinder bodies, large steel components, castings, and aluminum components. The machining center works efficiently and saves space due to its compact configuration.

The models include MDH40P, MDH50, MDH65, MDH80, MDH1005, and MDH125. Positioning accuracy and repeatability are compliant with JIS standards.

The MDH40P spindle speed is 3000 rpm with a cutting width of 15 mm, a cutting depth of 20 mm, and a feed rate of 600 mm/min, capable of cutting 180 cm³/min with aluminum workpieces.
The MDH50/65/80/1005 spindle speed is 160 rpm with a cutting width of 25 mm, a cutting depth of 30 mm, and a feed rate of 200 mm/min, capable of cutting 150 cm³/min with steel workpieces.
The MDH125 spindle speed is 160 rpm with a cutting width of 15 mm, a cutting depth of 50 mm, and a feed rate of 300 mm/min, capable of cutting 225 cm³/min with steel workpieces.

The MDH40P travel on the X-axis (column left/right) is 630 mm, Y-axis (spindle head up/down) is 620 mm, and Z-axis (table back/forth) is 710 mm. The table surface to spindle center distance is 80–700 mm, and the table center to spindle nose is 150–860 mm. The maximum workpiece weight loadable is 400 kg. The spindle speed ranges from 100 to 10,000 rpm, and the rapid traverse rate is 60,000 mm/min. The tool magazine capacity is 40, and the total machine weight is 8,000 kg.
The MDH50/65/80/1005 travel on the X-axis (column left/right) is 780 mm, Y-axis (spindle head up/down) is 750 mm, and Z-axis (table back/forth) is 800 mm. The table surface to spindle center distance is 80–830 mm, and the table center to spindle nose is 150–950 mm. The maximum workpiece weight loadable is 800 kg. The spindle speed ranges from 120 to 12,000 rpm (optional), and the rapid traverse rate is 45,000 mm/min. The tool magazine capacity ranges from 40 to 160 (optional), and the total machine weight is 14,000 kg.

The spindle motor provides a power rating of 22/30 kW. The machine control system uses FANUC 18i. Other features include self-lubricating systems, high-speed cutting capabilities, and compact configurations that maximize efficiency and save space.
