AFE OLGUNLAR MACHINERY started operating in 1991 and provided spare parts for the Steel and iron and Automotive sector for many years. Upon intensive demands for the manufacture of special machinery, AFE OLGUNLAR, has manufactured maпy machines of which the design, project and the manufacture genuinely belonged to itself. H Type rim press, the rolling machines, rolling mill equipments, vertical curve mill and C type and column hydraulic presses are good examples of these.

AFE OLGUNLAR that has a total area of 7000 square meter, 4500 square meter of which being the covered area, and that maintains its services to provide the business front with the necessary high quality and detailed solutions mainly manufactures heavy engineering parts, welded construction, rolling machinery, rolling mill equipments, special machines and hydraulic presses from 200 tons up to 1500 tons capacity.
Having found the well deserved position in the domestic market,
AFE OLGUNLAR diverted its direction to the foreign markets. With the help
of the export businesses realized by the company, AFE OLGUNLAR, which
has already certified its quality and standard with IS0 9001, is making its
way up with certain and secure steps day by day scope

Afe Olgunlar manufactures industrial machinery and equipment. The company works predominantly for the iron and steel, automotive and production sectors. 
The company prepares projects, and carries out the manufacture and the instaliation of roiling-plant and steel-plant machinery for the iron and steel sector. Afe Olgunİar designs and manufactures moulds of any shape, and makes customised hydraulic presses for the automotive sector. The company processes all kinds of machine parts, and performs the machining of cast parts.

our manufacturing area

Steel manufacturing process takes place in 3 halls each having 25 m span and 60 m length, total 4500 m² closed area. 2 overhead bridge cranes serve for each halls (6 cranes in total) with 10 m lifting height. Lifting capacities of bridge cranes are 10 tons for 2 cranes, 20 tons for 2 cranes, and 30 tons for the other 2 cranes. In addition to bridge cranes portal and radial cranes serve where required.

AFE 2-High Stands are manufactured iп two types and various dimensions tobe used as Roughing, lntermediate and Finishing Stands. Our products have the guarantee for engineering, manufacturing and radiographically, sand-bIasted and heat-treated for normalization. All necessary quality control tests are aplied after machining and shop erction. Some, features of our 2-High Stands are as follows; Because of their high rigidity, a close-tolerance of the rolled product is obtained. The rolls are supported with grease lubricated roller bearings. The lower rolls are axially adjusted trough hinged clamps and tie rods located on one side of the stand. Entry and exit rest
bar are vertically adjustable. The stands are simly operated and requires low maintenance. The Stands are suitable to be used as horizantal and vertical bath.
If desired, hydraulicalby actuated wedges may be used to secure the stands on baseplates. lf the pass line is desired to be fixed, a hydraulically actuated
system which traverses the stands in reIation to the passed may be added.

Standard gear box models from 0.5 HP to 1800 HP power rating,include a large assortment of drivers in a wide range of ratios and various configurations. They are highly adaptable to many applications in many different industries. In addition to the standard production, special gearboxes to specific requirements of various plants are produced also. All important operating features such as load carrying, capacity, stiffness, vibration, characteristics, efficiency, noise level etc. have been optimized with the aid of modern technology and the latesttest procedures.

flying shear

Flying shears are used for cutting bars and sections during rolling process. According to the configuration they can be used for cropping, scrapping and length cutting purposes at different rolling speeds.To fulfill these different
needs, AFE flying shears are designed in several types, either driving systems, mechanical construction and control point of views.The shears are driven by an electric motor and pneumatic clutch-brake system. All the shears can be equiped with hot metal detector and electronic programmer, if desired. The same flying shears can be made as start-stop type. Since the knives of the crank type shears keep their vertical position during cutting
operation, these type of flying shears are specially used for bigger sections, flats, angles, U-channels and l-beams, Where the perpendicularity of the cut surface becomes moгe critical.

cold shear

AFE Cold Shears are designed to cut different quality of metals with the wide length of blade and powerfull shearingcapacity. Especially, it is used to cut all
barsproduced in the rolling mills, on the cooling bed outlet, into commerciallengths. It provides fully automatic working at high capacity with the electropпeumatic combined clutch-brake system, mechanism and digital counter equipment. Also, it can be equipped with inlet-outlet roller ways, adjustable buffer mechanisation. It can be designed and manufacturedaccording to the orders for different capacities and special equipments.

cooling bed

AFE designs and manufactures the cooling beds, which are used for having straight and uniformly cooled bars and sections, in different types and dimensions according to customers requirements. Since rake type cooIing beds give the best results for optimum cooling this system is generally used in our designs. In this system the rolled materials are conveyed step by on
fixed rakes by the walking beam action of moving rakes. In round bar and small section rolling mills the hot rolled materials are first cooled of on cast iron rakes for improved straightening effect. All of our cooling beds are designed to minimize the thermal stresses and distortions, and especially in long cooling beds the critial parts are cooled with water.

These are the machines that help to press and bale the meta and aluminium scrap metals. The presses are made in body-welded construction.
They are covered with steel sheathing at the places that wear out most. Additionally, there are sharp blades at the point where the upper cover
and the body meet. The hydraulic cylinders are pressurised with tandem pumps. Thus, low-speed operation at high pressure is provided. The scrap
presses can be manufactured in different sizes, asdual and triple presses. They carry the AFE engineering and qualitywarranty.

Bolster, completely machined steel massive block and secured on bad of the press by easily accessible screws Main & cushion cylinders, produced from seamless precision steel tubes and honed. The piston-rods, made of high quality tensile steel bore, hardened by induction, finely grinded and super-finished.
