Biglia
Biglia reliabilit y and tradition
for the efficient turning
The new B545 / 565 modelS are the latest evolution of the established
8510 series.
BIGLIA ndw oflers a range of hığh quality universallathes that, thanks
to the sturdy bed ªnd the new B1GL1A turret, deliver:

THE NECESSARY RIGIDITY ACCURACY
RAPIDITY IN MACHINING all of this ćombined with

GREAT RELIABILITY
VERYCOMPETITIVE PRICES.
Thé modular concept enables a wide range of elternative specífications and functions, from simple turning to complete machinińg usińg live tools, sub-spindle and C/Y axis.
The new 8545 / 8565 models are available in 6 versions with bar capaćity of 51 mm ог 70 mm allowing to meet your every réquirement in every application,

-Automatic taïlstoćk B545 YS / B565 YS
Y-Axis: Complete machining in one set-up
ANOTHER LEAP FORWARD IN INTEGRATED MACHINING PROCESSES ON CNC-LATHES
The rotary tools with C axis is a proven technology for simple milling and drillirıg operatiöhs, but with some limitations.
Actuallý, machinings like accurate key-ways, flat-mıİling with high surface finish añd perfect flatness as well as radial off-centre drıİling and tapping cannot be satisfactorily completed without the Y-axis. The Ý and YS versions with vertical  Y-axis overcome these limitations combining in a single machine turning arıd milling capabilïty of a 4 axis machining centre X; Z, C and Y .
The generous stroke of 105 mm and the rigidity of the Y axıś frame are at the top of its class. The YS version features a second spıńdle with C-axis enabling automatic complete machining of the parts.
The main performance benefits achievable with the Y and YS version multifurıction turning centres are:
осн IMPROVE PARTS ACCURACY
REDUCTION OF COSTS
REDUCTION OF NON-PRODUCTIVE TIME spindle ,
INCREASED FLEXIBILITY TO COUNTER CONSTANTLY CHANGING MARKET DEMAND. -50

SPINDLE SYNCHRONIZATION AND SUB-SPINDLE LOAD MONITORING

The ability to part off the bar without leaving a pip reduces cycle time. While monitoring the 8-axis motor load, the workpiece can be transferred from the main to the sub-spindle. Not only can the spindle speeds be synchronized, but angular displacement can be oriented so that round or polygonal parts are clamped without stopping the spindle. It is possible to start, stop, and change the rotation of both spindles while maintaining synchronization. This feature is important if there is any swarf in the sub-spindle collet, or if the workpiece to be transferred is larger than the collet or has not been parted off correctly from the main spindle.

RIGID TAPPING AND POLYGON TURNING

Left and right rigid tapping can be performed on the main spindle and sub-spindle using axial or radial live tools. This optional feature allows turning polygons and milling threads, provided the polygon milling attachment is used. Suggested materials include brass and free-cutting steel.

The rugged BIGLIA 12-station turret operates via a servo-motor deliveıing bi-directionaf rotation and an indexing time of second. And the use of a pıecisely dimensioned Hirth gear ensures machining rigidity.
The live tool veısion each of the 12 stations can accept rotabńg toolholders to machine paıts from both the main and sub-spindle.

TOOL-SETTER
This device makes tool-setting sımple, fast and aćcurate.
The tool tip ŕs brought into contact with the probe and the tooloffset value is automatically stored intó relevant table of the CNC control. This reduces setting-up time option .
NEW PARTS-CATCHER, EJECTOR
The new parts-catchęr, ejector enable unloading of finished parts both from main spihdle and sub-spińdle.

AUTOMATIC TAILSTOCK FOR REDUCED CYCLE TIME

The tailstock body is mounted on an independent slideway and is operated by a servo motor (8-axis). It is particularly suitable for the machining of shafts that must be center-drilled first and then supported by the tailstock for turning operations. It can also be used to perform both drilling and turning simultaneously. This feature is standard for models: 8545-M-V and B565-M-Y.

This special software detects the abnormalload created by a collıśion during
rapid traverse or within the machining process. When a collision occurs,
spindle rotation is stopped and the axıś movement is halted thus damping
TMe interference and limiting damage to the toolïng. NQTE this fuñction does  not prevent from collision,
MANUAL GUIDE:
The innovative MANUAL GUIDE software package offers operators access to a highly intuitive and user-friendly graphical interface. This system features a broad selection of machining cycles for turning, milling, and drilling, providing strong editing functions and a wide array of options for various operations. It allows for the creation of even the most complex programs with ease, and the 3D simulation feature facilitates the checking of programs before machining operations.
