Colgar metalworking machines

COLGAR

Colgar is the story of a dream. The dream of three young people representing an entire generation, who in 1945, amidst the ruins of the Second World War, courageously and tenaciously decided to start a new adventure. The shared dream of a country that rose from devastation armed only, in the beginning, with passion and honesty, and which over the years has modernized and broadened its objectives in a constant search for all-encompassing wealth.

This is how a small makeshift workshop became the first factory. The success of the machines and the market's requirements soon led to the broadening, building, and diversification of plants and products. The first simple hand lever cutters soon became electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic shears, followed by the commencement and development of the production of mechanical, hydraulic, synchronized, and automatic press brakes, in a constant drive for technical updating and innovative solutions.

In the world of sheet metal, Colgar has become synonymous with reliability, strength, precision, and prestige. The boring and milling machines division was created as a technological challenge that also stimulates and enriches the sheet metal working sector. Today, Colgar designs, builds, and develops its machines in three different production units. It controls each phase of the cycle with a certified and established quality system. It presents itself to the market as a reference standard for technological avant-garde and boasts a vast and loyal clientele in the most diverse industrial situations.

All this increases the value of its origins and the importance of a handshake. We are proud of our history and our consolidated present, certain that our future success will be reflected in the success of our customers.

The dream continues.

The Compensatíon of Deflections: Automatíc Crowníng Table

Precision and Functionality

The Same Bending Angle Automatically Over the Whole Length of the Piece
We provide the operator with a high-precision tool that they can trust in all working conditions, without manual adjustments.

Finite Element Method (FEM): Analyzes under-load deflections to create a tailor-made adjustment profile.

Minimization of Deflections: Achieved through high-rigidity frames.

Mechanical Manufacturing Accuracy: Ensures optimal system performance.

Continuous Adjustment Curve: Applies along the whole length of the piece, with several correction points.

Adjustment Precision: Also accommodates off-centre loads.

Medium-High Tonnage Machines: Equipped with one or more automatic crowning profiles and transversal manual independent wedges for calibration. Allows for local corrections, displayed on indicators in the case of large tables; includes automatic clamping/unclamping of the tables for friction-free crowning.

Simplicity of Use: Durable over time with no wear.

TAC Automatic Adjustment Table: Features two matched wedge-shaped variable tilt sections. The lengthwise CNC-controlled movement of the upper section compensates for the press brake's deflection.

The Accessories
