TRAVELLING COLUMN GRINDING MACHINES

This new DELTA model is distinct from any other type of its kind. It was designed with a new synchronization system between the oscillation movement of the manual head and the movement of the table on which the electro-permanent magnetic chuck is mounted. The synchronized movements ensure that the vertical axis of the spindle is always perfectly aligned with the longitudinal axis of the table, achieving substantial rectifiable precision.

This model, . It features a handwheel for rapid advancement of 2 mm per turn and a fine adjustment knob for 0.01 mm readings, located on the same handwheel. Additionally, it is equipped with a refrigeration system, a grinding wheel, a wheel holder, and wrenches.

Manufacturing Features:

TRAVELLING COLUMN: Constructed from stabilized Meehanite cast iron, ensuring maximum rigidity.

HYDROSTATIC SLIDEWAYS: All machine axes feature hydrostatic slideways, providing zero friction, optimal power utilization, and zero wear, guaranteeing long-term geometric accuracy. Extremely smooth movements are achieved with minimal effort—moving considerable loads with just one finger.

HYDRODYNAMIC SPINDLE: Features a hydrodynamic bearing at the front and a pair of pre-loaded precision ball bearings, resulting in zero wear, zero friction, and exceptionally accurate surface finishes with high geometric and machining precision.

HYDRAULIC TABLE: Equipped with dual cylinders controlled by an electronically actuated proportional valve.

Automation Levels:

Three user-friendly automation levels—CN, CN PLUS, and CNC—developed through DELTA software, characterized by maximum ease of use:
