An electronic speed variator allows stepless adjustments from 3 to 30 RPM, with a digital display showing the set speed immediately. The belt drive ensures a regular rotary motion without slipping and vibrations, achieving very precise work and excellent finishing, even with high material removal.

Special adjustable taper roller bearings enable the handling of very heavy pieces and easy resetting of the machine's geometric trim. All models with a rotating table are equipped with an electro-permanent magnetic chuck, complete with a control unit for adjusting the magnetic flux intensity. The available diameters are 300 and 400 mm for model LC 400, and 500 mm for model LC 500.

To improve the performance of the rotary table grinding machines, they can be fitted with the automatic centesimal feed system of the wheelhead (L 11), which allows for automatic grinding cycles. This accessory includes a device that synchronizes the vertical movements of the wheelhead with the rotary motion of the work table; every two revolutions of the table, the wheelhead performs the pre-set feed. The maximum removal in each work cycle is 1 mm, which can be achieved with feeds of 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm.

The wheelhead's inclination of +/- 45 degrees, necessary for specific operations, can be obtained through accessory L 28 for model LC 500 only.

Both models feature a robust monolithic structure made from high-quality cast iron and include a column holding arm to provide maximum rigidity. Model LC 500 has a larger spindle motor with a power of 3 kW (4 HP). The rotating table is controlled by asynchronous three-phase bipolar motors with 6/12 poles in model LC 400 and 8/16 poles in model LC 500. These motors allow the table to rotate at speeds of 20 and 40 RPM in model LC 400 and 15 and 30 RPM in model LC 500.

Technical Department, lies in a well-planned kinematic mechanism; it takes the oscillatìng motion of the manually driven headwheel and causes the synchronized motíon of the worktable.
Such synchronized movements keep the vertical axis of the spindle constantly aligned with the longitudinal axis of the table, alIowing to grind surfaces up to 500 x 200 mm which are remarkable sizes for this type of machines.
The geometrical trim of the machine is always perfectly adjustable thanks to the use, for the oscillating table, of special taper roller bearings which can bear high loads. 
The grinding machine LP 500/200, showing constructive features common to the whole 1ine, also has an optimized monolithic structure províded with a stout stiffening arm of the column and a spindle motor of 3 kW 4 HP ; this is to guarantee very precise workings with excellent finishings.
This model includes an electropermanent magnetic chuck complete
with electronic unit to control the magnetic field intensity.

A big display vísualizes with mícrometric resolution the position of the vertical axís that can be moved wíth the jog buttons oг with the micrometríc electroníc hand-wheel.
The cycle is completely automatic.
The cycle parameters are: material to be removed, increment min 0,001 mm , number of spark out, number of revolution of the table per íncrement.
At the end of the cycİe the head moves up, the grinding wheel motor, the
coolant electro-pump and the table stop.

This device allows to dress the grinding wheel quite safely operator s hands
far from the wheel with an optimal rake of about 10 ; so the cuttíng edge of the wheel ís perfect.
Moreover, thanks to the precision nonius sítuated on the grinding wheel ít ís
possible to adjust the headwheel according to the amount removed on the
wheel, without having to restore the contact wheel-piece after each dressíng
operation.
