PIPE REDUCING TOOL

Seamless tubes up into 100 mm diameter can be reduced cold to any length required wíth the appropriate Eckold Pipe
Reducing Tool. It ís possíble to reduce the diameter up to 50 of the oríginal tube diameter. The followíng chart gives some idea of the taper angle of the transitíon zone and wall thíckness in relatìon to the pipe diameter. Each tool ís made and tested individually according to the diameter and reductíon required. The customer should supply five, approximately 0,5 meters 20 inches long, tubes for test purposes. The Eckold Pipe Reducing Tool is equipped with longitudínal stop, and upon request, with inter-changeable ínserts.
