Exner P 150 hydraulic tool testing presses

EXNER PRESSEN  Hydraulic tool-testing presses

EXNER Pressen are reliable, high-performance hydraulic presses used for production and tool-testing applications in the metalworking industry. These presses incorporate the latest metal-forming technology to ensure high availability, maximum tool life, precision, and part accuracy. They comply with the latest accident prevention regulations and the European Machinery Directive, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The presses are tailored to the customer's needs, thanks to EXNER's custom-built manufacturing process. Their experienced and competent service staff handles commissioning, annual maintenance, inspection for compliance with safety standards, and repairs.

EXNER tool-testing presses are particularly suited for pilot lot production and the testing of various tools such as stamping, deep-drawing, blanking, and follow-on composite tools. The required precision is achieved through electronic gang control and long cylindrical guides. For double-sided presses, the accuracy is further enhanced by using 8-fold or 45-flat guideways, allowing for high precision even under heavy loads.

For example, the EXNER P 125 and P 150 models are hydraulic tool-testing presses that use CNC-controlled electronic gang systems for highly accurate operation, achieving deviations as low as 0.02 mm/m under free travel and 0.04 mm/m under maximum load.

These advanced features make EXNER presses a top choice for industries requiring precision tool testing and high-volume production.

Especially the electronic gang control makes it possible to optimise tools with a big outside force driving the machine. A CNC driven master-slave combination is used to achieve a ganging of mm/m of the free running ram and of mm/m for the ram under
maximum load. A position control allows to start a preprogrammed lower dead point with an accuracy of mm without mechanical depth control stop or overrunning gibs.
Provision has been made for two digital pressing force dísplay units indicating the forces each driven into the ram. This allows an accurate positioning with centrical forcedriving in the production machine.

EXNER tool-testing presses stand out for their solid construction and ease of operation. These presses are designed for both production and tool testing, offering the capability to visualize and store key tool parameters, including pressure characteristics and pressure curve data. This feature significantly reduces setup times, enhancing efficiency during tool changes.

Available as double-column or four-column presses, EXNER tool-testing presses come in capacities ranging from 50 kN to several hundred kN. The robust construction ensures reliability, while the ergonomic and user-friendly design makes these presses ideal for various applications, including high-performance testing of tools.

By using EXNER presses, production presses can achieve higher productivity through tools that have been rigorously tested and optimized for use on EXNER tool-testing presses. This ensures consistent quality and reliability in the manufacturing process.

These presses are ideal for industries that require precision tool-testing combined with high production efficiency, making them a valuable asset in many production environments.
