Haco ps , psc shears 

The shears in Series PS are designed for full production use. They are engineered soundly, constructed properly, and nothing is spared to provide the best quality product with the best obtainable components.

Bed and ram are of rugged all-welded construction for maximum strength and minimum deflection. Roller-ways have virtually unlimited life. In our shears, we use replaceable hardened ways with the upper blade ram guided on roller bearings. This allows the user the possibility to replace them easily when they eventually wear out.

The delivery range of hydraulic guillotine shears P5 and the PSC shears covers all capacities between 2 m x 4 mm and 6 m x 32 mm. We make use of the best hydraulic components available such as Vickers, Rexroth, which are assembled in a block hydraulic system. The hydraulic system and the cylinders are placed at the cop rear of the machine - free from debris and dirt, to allow ease of material clearance and handling. The parallelism control of the cutting beam is based on the 'supplant principle. Individual hold-downs adjust automatically to varying plate thickness and are interlocked with the ram to ensure proper clamping before the shearing cycle begins.

A two-speed (fast/slow) powered backgauge is a very popular and profitable option. This can also be equipped with a swing-away system. For heavier shears (16 mm capacity or more), a hydraulic swing-up system is strongly recommended. In both systems, the entire gauging system swings away allowing sheets longer than the nominal capacity of the backgauge to be cut.

All control functions are incorporated in the control panel. Power adjustment of the rake angle from the control panel allows thin material to be cut using a low rake angle and thus minimizing the deformation of the cut sheet. A two-degree angle between the blades prevents deformation of both the sheet and the backgauge and thus ensures long blade life. Blade gap adjustment is achieved by moving the levers to any of the pre-set functions.
