The machining centers of the BC range boast powerful main spindles and large, exceptionally sturdy machine tables, making them ideal for heavy machining tasks in machine construction and tool making. HEDELIUS ensures stability with generously dimensioned recirculating roller guides and extra-wide saddles. These machines offer ample workspaces that can be quickly loaded with various clamping fixtures, including swiveling frames, vacuum systems, or magnetic clamping plates. Moreover, the pendulum operation enables cost-effective production of large batches by using a workspace divider plate.

The workspaces of the BC range are designed to accommodate both long parts and cost-efficient pendulum operations. With a fixed machine table, operators have direct access to the workpiece for easy setup.

Powerful main spindle

The BC range features particularly powerful main spindles, capable of heavy machining even on large workpieces. These spindles can achieve speeds of up to 10,000 rpm with an output of up to 55.0 kW.

Pre-tensioned ball screw spindle

All machining centers above model 60 are equipped with pre-tensioned ball screw spindles and driven ball nuts on the X-axes. This configuration ensures maximum feed quality, surface finish, and contour accuracy.
