The cast iron gables are bolted to a strong frame for mounting on the foundation. The folding beam is driven by a 3-step gear mechanism. All 3 beams can be adjusted for the current task, making the machine very versatile. The folding blade can be replaced with a high, narrow blade or a segmented blade for bending box profiles. With HM Machinery's extensive experience in manufacturing high-quality sheet metal working machinery, it has been possible to incorporate the most up-to-date technology in the design and construction of the KSM range of heavy-duty powered folders. Cast iron gables are bolted to a solid frame which has been machined for high tolerance mounting on to the machine bed. The folding beam is driven by a 3-step clutch gear. All beams can be adjusted to suit the optimum working position, this makes the KSM a very versatile machine indeed. The sharp nose blade fitted as standard can be exchanged for a high narrow blade or alternatively a segmented blade for box and pan work. The machine stands on a robust base frame made of cast iron, which also serves for foundation mounting. The bending beam is driven by a 3-step gearbox with V-belts. For special tasks, all three beams can be individually adjusted, resulting in versatile machine applications.
