The combined effect of the magnetic clamping with the special centerless hinges means that the MBM machine is a very compact, space-saving, machine with an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio. Accessories such as back stops for locating the work piece, and a set of short clamp bars that plug-together are standard with all models. Additional accessories include narrow clamp bars, slotted clamp bars for forming shallow boxes more quickly, foot pedal for remote control and power shears with guide for straight distortion-free cutting. Special tooling can be quickly improvised from pieces of steel to help fold-up difficult shapes, and for production work the standard clamp bars can be replaced by specialized tooling. The MBM machines come with a detailed manual which covers how to use the machines, as well as how to make various common items. The unique centerless hinges, specially developed for the MBM swivel bending models MBM 625 - 3200, are attached over the entire length of the machine and, just like with the upper jaw, the force transmission is removed from the bending process, right where the force is generated. These two factors make the MBM swivel bending machines more compact, space-saving, and the machines have a very high bending capacity compared to their own weight. Standard accessories: back gauge and segmented upper jaw are standard on all machines. Extra accessories: narrower upper jaw, special segmented upper jaw to be able to perform bending operations in multiple directions, foot pedal, and electric sheet metal shear as a handheld device. Special tools can be easily made using steel flat iron when heavy profiles need to be salvaged, and the complete upper jaw can be replaced by a special upper jaw.
