When the management of IBARMIA tasked its engineers with developing a geared machine head at the lowest possible cost for this Series, it presented a truly challenging endeavor.

The outcome of their efforts was remarkably successful: a 9-speed gearbox featuring tempered and ground steel gears, equipped with 2 levers and a speed plate on the front of the machine head, allowing for direct control without the operator needing to move from their work position.

The market response was outstanding, propelling this series to immediate "best-seller" status. Following the introduction of the "32" model, the "35" quickly followed suit. While imitations surfaced in the market, they never surpassed mere replication.

In both manual and automatic feed versions, users can choose between manually adjusting the tool feed using the spokes of the crank-wheel ("S" type) or letting the machine handle the task with one of two options for automatic feed: type "A" (mechanical clutch) or type "B" (electromagnetic clutch).

Ensure precise drilling depth using the millimetered scale on the front plate. Set the desired depth using the adjustable stop and experience the accuracy of the automatic cut-off at the end of the run in models with automatic feed.

The machine boasts a solid and stable construction, thanks to well-proportioned dimensions of its structure. The main spindle, characterized by high rigidity and zero play, is crafted from tempered and ground steel, with its housing honed to fine tolerances.

Featuring a generous worktable with 3"T" slots and capable of rotating 360° around the column, it can be vertically adjusted using a rack and pinion system, lockable by a lever. Additionally, the "35" model includes a rotating plate as a standard feature.

Electrical equipment comprises a thermomagnetic general on/off switch for motor protection, bi-directional turn selector, high/low-speed range selector, emergency stop, safety drill guard against chips with a microswitch, and more.
