P Series

Power and precision.

BP-90

The giant.

Probably the biggest and most powerful standard drilling machine head in the world. Its specifications are spectacular: a 600 mm throat, a 300 mm spindle stroke, a 20 motor..., in summary, a machine without rivals.

In applications with multi-spindle heads or with drill bits of great size, the robustness of its structure and of its mechanics guarantee unequalled and long-lasting performance.

Direct drilling in steel up to 97 mm with sword type drill bit, with an optional 25 motor.

Variations

Extra large/Mobile/Cross

Our clients frequently request us to supply them with a standard machine head and column from the P Series with tables that fully satisfy their needs. The most common cases are:

machines with extra large tables for fitting bulky or heavy pieces,

machines with pneumatic tables which create two work areas, one for machining and the other for loading/unloading while the machine is working,

machines with cross tables for precision work.

Several examples are shown on these pages.

BP-50 with extra large table for the drilling of rods using a multi-spindle drilling head arranged in a line.

BP-40 with a mobile pneumatic table providing 2 work areas: machining and loading/unloading for drilling hinges for the automobile industry.

BP-70L with a mobile pneumatic table for drilling agricultural machinery parts. In the case of bulky and/or heavy pieces, the mobile table improves access for the crane, a great advantage in loading/unloading operations.

In the P Series

The drill batteries

Up to 6 in a line.

These assemblies are extremely interesting in jobs of long production series where the piece undergoes more than one operation, moving from one machine head to another, receiving each operation in turn. Naturally, each machine head can be equipped differently according to the function of the operation: automatic drilling cycle, automatic tapping cycle, spotfacing, etc... In many cases, these solutions are much more productive than machines such as machining centres and at a much lower cost.
