The entire range of I.m.a.l. 's production complies with the essential safety standards according to the 89/392 machine directives by the European community 

The perfect parallelism between the ram and the table is guaranteed by a torsion bar, oppertunely calibrated, set between the housing of the machine and rigidly connected to the ram. 

The adjusment of the lower dead centre for bending in air is obtained by mechanical back stops, adjustable by means of an electric motor wich contemporarily controls the two main controls screws inside the cylinders. The position is indicated on a counter, this system guaranteeing an infinite series of identical bends once the adjusment has been set.
