Innse berardi zenith 

The Innse-Berardi machining centers model Zenith extend the basic concepts typical of the machining centers and of the automatized production cell, to a field of dimensions and power which is higher than those to this point usual. As a matter of fact, these machining centers allow a high level of automation for machining medium-size workpieces by means of the use of different attachment heads, pallet systems, and a high number of tools. They are completely hydrostatic, equipped with a horizontal spindle, movable column, and rotary-traversing table. Thanks to the kinematic chains with backlash recovery system, it is possible to ensure the maximum stiffness and machining accuracy.

Rotary tables
The Aries milling-boring machines and the Zenith machining centers can be equipped with a wide variety of rotary-traversing tables with complete hydrostatic bearing both for the rotating axis B and for the linear axis. In general, all the tables can be equipped with a clamping system on the rotating axis (B axis). The system is designed in such a way that it doesn't modify the angular position of the table during the clamping phase.

PMFC 1600 tables are the ones which are mainly used with the Zenith machining centers, which can also have a pallet system. In this case, the linear axis of the tables identifies the transversal movement (X axis). Innse-Berardi produces a series of tables used for special applications such as:

- Tilting model PT1FC 2000 with a load capacity of up to 120 tons
- Rotating model PFC 1200 and PFC 1600
- Annular model PATFC 4100 with a load of 200 tons and with the diameter of the external ring of up to 6300 mm.

Attachment heads
The Aries Series boring-milling machines and the Zenith machining centers are equipped with attachment heads which can be loaded and clamped automatically. Furthermore, all the attachment heads can be equipped with automatic tool changing and clamping features. Innse-Berardi produces and develops special attachment heads to satisfy any need the Customer might have and has a series of specific attachment heads for machining components such as: Kaplan, Francis blades, Pelton turbine, and diesel engines.

The Aries milling-boring machines can be equipped with chain type tool magazine with automatic changer. Its capacity can be from 10 to 165 seats. The Innse-Berardi machining centers model Zenith are equipped with automatic tool changer and chain type or rack type magazine with robot. This solution allows having a wide quantity of tools between 40 and 500, in compliance with safety regulations. These automatic tool changers are studied and programmed in order to increase productivity.
