Zero setting button Bolt Hole Circle Since up to 10,000 holes can be made along the circumference of the basic circle, it increases efficiency of works and production in working for molds and processing parts. Absolute/Incremental Incremental machining zero approaching can be used anytime by presetting the coordinate of each axis without error. In absolute positioning, JENIX counter can be saved 10 coordinates to memory. Counting Direction Conversion Moving direction can be converted, + or - value can be selectable. Reference Marks Reference marks are positioned in every 25mm intervals on a grating glass scale. When the power is unexpectedly off in the way of working, saved preset points can be recalled for previous works. Bolt Hole Circle Machining By entering the Radius or Diameter, the number of holes required 1--10,000, angle of the first hole and the last hole, X and Y bolt hole coordinates will be displayed on Counter.

EDM Function In EDM Mode, Each axis shows the followings. X-AXIS: Values from STEP1 to STEP4 Y-AXIS: Lowest Value of Z-AXIS Z-AXIS: Electrode moving value Tool Offset for Lathe This is one of the applications of ABS function. As the coordinates of each tool can be saved up to 15, the tools can be used by simply selecting ABS number assigned to the tool. It is unnecessary to reset the position of tools each time. Addition of 2 axes value The values of Y-axis and Z-axis can be summed to display in the Y-axis display panel. This function is usually used for lathe, which have fine feed and coarse feed installed its own scale each.

Jenix Scales provide the output signals to a counter through an opto-electronic process based on the reading of a scale which has been engraved with chrome lines with a pitch of The reading device consists of a light source, an index scale which is a glass grid with graduated windows and some photovoltaic cells as receptors.

Jenix Scales use reflected infrared light emitting diodes as light sources by a reflection lens which guarantee greater safety and longer life span. The infrared beam goes through the graduated track and grid and the graduated track makes the light intensity oscillate in a sine-wave fashion which is converted by the photo diodes into primary current modulated sine-wave electrical signals.

The period of these electrical signals is the same as the grading pitch.
