Klingelnberg p40 precision measuring center

Klingelnberg Versatile CNC-controlled measuring center P 40 designed compactly for workpiece diameters up to 400 mm. The machine inspects cylindrical gears, pinion type cutters, shaving cutters, worms, worm wheels, hobs, bevel gears, and deviations in dimensions, location, and position of axially symmetrical workpieces. Further applications include cams, camshaft measurement, and rotor measurement. The heart of P 40 is an accurate, durable rotary table configured as a measuring axis (C axis) to provide concentric seating of tested workpieces. In combination with the three linear measuring axes - tangential X axis, radial Y axis, and vertical Z axis - the measuring centers trace and inspect the functional surfaces of gears and drive components in generator mode. This guarantees maximum measuring accuracy and reproducibility. Klingelnberg precision measuring centers are equipped with heavy-duty, stable beds and guide systems made of cast iron. All bearings and guides of measurement axes are backlash-free, ensuring high basic accuracy.

The integrated 3D tracer head enables both discrete-point probing and scanning, with continuous scanning 3D tracer head and digital measured value logging in all coordinate directions. The measuring centers are suitable for coordinate, form, gear, and roughness measurements. The powerful G1NA software simplifies result evaluation. Tremendous time savings are achieved due to quick availability of measuring results.
