Lisse Model M one pass rolling and curving machine

This model is of simple and rugged construction, to suit small as high produciton as well as experimental working runs. On this model, pressure on the urethan roll is obtained by hand control. Bending capacity is 1,5 mm mild steel. 

These machines are offered in a wide range of capacities and are available specifically to handle the most commonly used gauges, from 1.5 to 5 mm, in widths ranging from 500 to 1800 mm.

BENDING PROCESS
After its successful breakthrough in the USA, the patented basic principle of this machine is widely developing all over Europe nowadays. This principle consists of a rotating drawing of the blank over the top roll (punch) by means of pressure developed by the urethane lower roll (female die). The radius obtained is expressed as a ratio between the diameter of the top roll and the spring-back of the plate. In order to obtain any radius other than the minimum one, it is necessary to slip over the top roll a tubular mandrel, also called a slip-on tube, thus changing the radius and consequently the diameter of the piece part.

CURRENT ATTACHMENTS:
1- FEED TABLE: Consists of a platform with guides to introduce blanks and keep the feed angle right relative to the roll axis.
2- SLIP-ON TUBES: Tooling necessary for the job. One slip-on tube is necessary for each diameter and thickness of the blank to work. It consists of commercially available tubing machined inside and outside.
3- SLIP-ON TUBE SUPPORT: Supports tubes during piece-part removal.

Model of very strong construction, specially designed to suit high production of parts of 5 and 6 mm thickness.
