LTF IMMV 235 A Multispindle drilling machines 

The new drilling/tapping machine, model IMM235, has been planned so that it can be built modularly in order to satisfy any requirement on the part of the customer. The basic model IMM235TM is completely manual; it has a spindle with a tapered connection, Morse No.4, and the change of speed is obtained through 4-step tapered belts, while the switch between the fast/slow descent is achieved through gears immersed in an oil bath. The structure is very sturdy, allowing it to perform even very heavy-duty operations while keeping its precision unchanged. 

The model IMM235ATM is complete with an electronic feed variation device, which, through a D.C. motor with permanent magnets, permits continuous change of the feed speed of the spindle, even during the working cycle. This allows the choice of the optimal feed speed according to the type of material to be processed, the type of tool, and its degree of wear and tear. The model IMMV235ATM presents all the characteristics of the previously described model. Moreover, It is complete with an electronic variation of the spindle speed operated by a digital inverter controlling a servo-cooled three-phase motor, suited for high frequencies, which, in combination with the unit controlling the fast/slow change, yields considerable torque to the spindle. This allows to go from the minimum to the maximum speed within a very few seconds. This change, too, can be made during the working cycle. All the models can be provided with a workbench having a high-precision compound cross-movement table and a large drip-collecting container (Mod. TC). On request, the models IMMV235ATM and IMMV235ATC may be supplied with an ISO 35 quick coupling attachment designed by 1M, which makes it possible to replace the tool by simply pressing upward on one of the spokes of the spindle downstroke. This very quick operation causes, through a ball system, the uncoupling and renewed coupling of the various tool-holders, and, at the same time, for the safety of the operator, the rotation of the spindle is automatically switched off.
