MANUFACTURING PECULIARITIES
ERGONOMIC CONFIGURATION - The projectíon screen of respectively 600 and 760 mm is placed at the side of the worktable set (this design was introduced as fírst by Mícrotecníca in 1954 on former Cyclop Model called P 1000) thus allowing to the operator a free
access to the screen. The lamp holder arms for both diascopic and episcopic projections, as well as the digital display/data processor holder support, can be
pivoted making ít easier to place heavy and large parts on the worktable.
MODULARITY - The concept of modularization has been applied to ATLAS Mode1 resulting in the harmonic integration of all components.
UPRIGHT and UNREVERSED 1MAGE -(Optional). In addition to the traditional principle, the ATLAS 600 can be supplied, on request, wíth a special devíce gíving an upright and unreversed image viz. the projected part appears exactly as seen by the operator, upríght and correct right to left. This represents a big advantage sínce it allows a more precise use of the optical comparator avoiding therefore any possible misinterpretatíon of the ímage projected on the screen.

PROJECTION SYSTEMS
The ATLAS Model operates with the following systems which allow an extenslve range of applications: horízontal díascopic (standard), vertical diascopic and episcopic.

VERTICAL DIASCOPIC PROJECTION - Photo 3
Is obtaíned by means of the same illuminator as for the epíscopic, but with addition of a glass support with integra145° mirror on which small and/or thin pieces can be
placed directly.
Thís effectívely creates a second profíle projector givíng a big íncrease ín the scope and use of ATLAS model. The object fie/d is the same as for the horizontal díascopíc projection whilst the measuring field, obviously, is límited accordíng to the prísm síze, placed inside the glass support, which is mm 245x105 (accessory 780 - VBC).

OPTICAL SYSTEM
It íncludes interchangeable lenses with 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 magnifications, optical condensers and mírrors.
LENSES - The dedícated optícal calcu/ation and hígh accuracy manufacturing enable to get parafocalized and telecentríc lenses wíth an optícal distorsion lower than 0, 05%.
OPTICAL CONDENSERS - Two condensers whích gíve parallel and collímate líght beams are provided. One for
the 5X lens and the second for ll/ other magníficatíon lenses.
OPTICAL MIRRORS - High accuracy manufacturing and suitab/e ref/ectíng coating ensure the highest level of accuracy and brightness of the image projected on the screen.
PROJECTION SYSTEMS - In addítion to the tradítíonal principle the At/as 600 can be supplíed, on request, with a special optical device giving an upright and unreversed image. Note: 5X lens ís only available for standard optical system.
The tables show the optical data of all avaílable magnífícation lenses as well as maximum díameter of the piece checkable in horizontal díascopic projection.
