SCREEN SIZE
sirius is provided with a 500 mm díameter screen and it ís placed ín the medium size optical comparator range.
DESIGN FEATURES
sirius is characterízed by an illuminatíon system on the horizontal and vertíca/ projection screen. The heavy duty table set is mounted on a sturdy vertical slíde with preloaded roller ways allowing high accuracy and sturdiness. Worktable is available ín two versíons with powered displacements of 300 x 200 mm
and 710 x 200 mm.

PROJECTION SYSTEMS
Sirius model can be used to check on diascopic (direct) and episcopic (surface) projections, either separately or simultaneously.
DIASCOPIC PROJECTION
1s the direct projection system used for checkíng
externa/ profiles. lt is maínly used for cylíndrícal components p/aced between the dead centres, on the "V" support or in a vice support, the latter for checking
flat píeces.
The líght source parallel beam , obtaíned by means of the optica/ condenser, is originated by a 150W 24V halogen bulb lamp with two light intensities and
moton`an lamp coolíng system.
EPISCOPIC PROJECTION (Optional)
Is used for checkíng surfaces, relíefs and cavítíes.
The illumínation is given through two ways optic fibres origínated by a 150W 24V halogen lamp, with moton`an lamp cooling, offering a good bríghtness
even in case of component wíth matting suıfaces.
OPTICAL SYSTEM
The dedicated optícal calculatíon and high accuracy
manufacturing enable to achieve the highest level of:
- high resolution
- image sharpness
- bríghtness
- absence of chromatic aberration
- optical distortion: less than 0,05%

WIDE RANGE OF ACCESSORIES
In addition to the usual accessories, the Síríus can be fitted with the edge finder and data processor with printer which transform the tradítíonal Optical Comparator
ínto a Bi-dímensíonal Measuring Machine, capable of carrying out contact-less checks and measurements, rapidly and accurately. By means of these accessories
Siríus can perform quick and high accuracy checks and measurements on components with a very complicated geometrical configuratíon. The CNC availabílity further increases the pen`ormances of Sirius allowing to check automatically the parts under testíng
