Omera HYDRAULIC PRESSES
FRAME: The welded frame is manufactured from thick steel to gíve max rigidíty. Before being machined, the frame is normalized to relieve stress .
RAM: for models "OP125-C", "OP140-C", "OP163-C" and "OP1 80-0 " the ram consists of thick steel plate guided by chromium plated and ground columns. For models "OP1 100S-C" and "OP1 125S-C" the ram is made in welded and normalized plate. Antifriction shoes eliminate friction of the ram and "stick slip" effect.
The ram guide system (see drawing) is adjustable.
BOLSTERS: manufactured from thick steel (040) to assist rigídity.
DIE LOCK: the ram and bolster are provided with milled tee slots; the table is also províded with holes to permit the passage of the knockout bars. The position and manufacture of the slots and holes are to the "OMERA" standard specífication (see drawíng). Amendments to
the standard specification to suit customer's special requirements can be made (customer to provide working drawings).
CYLINDER PISTON: the cylinder is ground and lapped, and the piston, in hardened and tempered steel, is chromium plated and lapped, and manufactured to the híghest degree of precision and mounted only after accurate testing guaranteeing perfect reliability.
BLANKHOLDER CUSHION: hydraulically operated and housed under the fixed bolster. The blankholder table slides on 4 chromíum plated ground steel columns.
HYDRAULICS: It is in the upper section of the machine
and íncludes: o 1 tank; variable delivery píston pump, havíng a constant power regulator. The pump is operated by an electric motor; rapid charge and rapíd díscharge valve; valves controlling advance of ram and relevant safety devíces with logic elements. Oil coolíng
system. Coining tímer.
ELECTRIC PANEL: The electric panel is built according
to present safety regulations. It contains all the electrical equipment for the runníng, control and safeguard of the machine as well as the operator's safety. All the components of both the electrical and hydraulíc systems are made by well-known and reliable manufacturers and in case of replacement are easily available.
CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS: On the front of the
machíne, there is a control panel containing: the start/stop push buttons with relevant warning líghts; selector of manual and automatic systems of work cycle: selector of blankholder work cycle. When the automatic system ís selected, the machine runs at single stroke by pressing the two push buttons (provided wíth "IS0-TIME" device) fitted on the pushbutton board. Also, the panel contains: stroke indicator; oil level and oil
temperature warning lights as well as oil filter cloggingdetector. On the front of the machine there is another panel containing the regulator of the ram work pressure, the blankholdercushion pressure regulatorwith relevant tonnage índicators. Easily adjustable cams acting on the elećtric limit swítches are provided to select the T.D.C., the B.D.C. and the braking posítion, etc.
