Omera Trimming beading machine

Omera srl, a leading manufacturer in the field of inetal forming machinery/plants for 2D and for 30, produces a vast and complete range of machines.
For 2D operations:
• Universal punching shearing iron cutting machines, operating either mechanically, or hydraulically, up to a maximum punching capacity of 950 kN
• Deep throat punching machines up to 1000 kN capacity
• Punching and nibbling machines up to 120 kN capacity.
For 3D operations:
• Double upright mechanical presses: with two thrusting points (two connecting rods) up to 8000kN, and with one thrusting point (one connecting rod) up to 1500 kN capacity; c-frame mechanicaI presses with one thrusting point (one connecting rod) up to 1250 kN capacity.
• Double uprights hydraulic presses up to 10000 kN capacity and c-frame hydraulic presses up to 1250 kN capacity.
• Trimming-beading machines to perform operations such as: trimming, beading, joggling, ribbling, seaming on cylindrical or polyhedral pressings.
• Linear arms, rotating arms, destakers and feeders for circular and square or rectangular blanks; gantry type loaders/ unloaders for the above mentioned trimming-beading
machines (either serving a single machine or a set of them).
• Automatic or semi-automatic production lines consisting of the above-mentioned machines and handling equipment, for producing pots, casseroles, lids, gas bottles, tank bottom
ends, beer kegs, fire extinguisher bodies, etc.
Today Omera srl employs approximately 150 people.
The Omera site spreads over 35000 sq. m., the actual premises
cover 11.500 sq. m.

Feasíble workíng operatíons
- Our trimmíng - beading machines are normally used for basic operations whose description is schematically shown in the present leaflet.
- Further technical documentation concerning other possible applications (not described in this leaflet) can be supplied upon request.
- Many specific operations are shown in the relevant leaflet n° 1032

The operatíon possibilities are the following:
• possibility of "time" or "revolution count" operation;
• possibility of carrying out up to 8working cycles ìn sequence with programming of the spindle delayed starting time or spindle stop time both at the
beginning and at the end of the cycle both between two working operations;
• programmìng of 8 strokes (one for each cycle) to delay stepping-in of the operating units;
• programming of the presser return time at the end of the cycle and stepping-in of the ejector;
• display of 32 messages on the liquid-crystal display screen (16 of which are used for the diagnostic).

Standard pneumatic system to perform up to two operations in just one setting.
Speed change by pulley and two-pole electric motor to give 4 speeds to the spindle.
