RYAZAN ENGINE LATHE 16 K 40 

This lathe is intended for all kinds of turning operations. It includes taper turning and thread cutting metric, Whitworth, module and diametral pitch threads. Powerful drive and high rigidity with wide range of spindle speeds and feeds provide the use of advanced cutting tools at machining different materials. The design features 
Rigidity, vibration resistance and temperature stability of the construction allow for high accuracy of the lathe operation. 2 prismatic bed ways and high reliability of other units provide long life of service with keeping the original accuracy. The speed of spindle reverse rotation is 1,3 times highеr than its normal rotation. It reduces the time of thread machining. Long cones are turned by simultaneously executing the carіage longitudinal feed and the feed of tool slide at the corresponding turn.
eed gear box has very rigid kinematic chain. All gears of the kinematic chain are high alloy steel, hardened and ground. Protective guard of cutting zone and a chuck, electrical and mechanical interlockings guarantee safe operation of the lathe.
