RYAZAN RT 958 MACHINE TOOL WORKS  ROTOR REPAIR SPECIAL LATHE MODEL
The lathes are designed for machining rotor journals and other surfaces of gas pumping and heat turbine rotors during repair. Machining is done with independent drive displacement grinding carriages. The lathes are designed and manufactured for tailstock and headstock parts accuracy not worse than Class B. For precise rotor alignment in chuck the lathes are equipped with special 
Levelling jacks and supporting rests. Rotor journal grinding ensures journal cylinder deviation and collar end play within mm and not less than Ra degree of roughness. Availability of turning carriages provides for full turning lathe capabilities including turning long tapers, cutting threads etc.
