SAF Turnmatic turn tables

SAF Turn-tables: TURNMATlC
Air Liquide Welding offers a variety of turn tables that can rotate up to 10 tons. These turn tables can complete a welding solution along with a column and boom and plasma welding. In the standard range, a turn table can rotate shells up to 10 tons and up to mm in diameter. For other sizes, capacities, or rotation speed ranges, please consult us. A backing gas device is also available to mount on the turn table for plasma welding. The backing gas device allows the operator to adjust it inside the shell through a manhole.

Air Liquide Welding also offers a complete range of headstocks that can rotate a piece in a horizontal position. The headstock range allows rotations of up to 10 tons. There are different types of headstocks, such as MINITOP, TOP, and SUPERTOP, which can be integrated into a mechanization H range for manual manipulation or integrated onto a machine with a motorized driver.

Air Liquide Welding proposes to design machines with modular elements to build the machine around the piece to be welded or cut. Mechanization allows saving time for your machine project. There is a large choice of mechanization parts such as beam oscillation carriage, manual or motorized slides, headstock, rotators, tailstock support, rotation block, blocks mandrel command box, supports, sensortrack, mecacycle j probe, electrical laserprobe cabinet, and mechanical tracking.

The Nertamatic plasma or TIG equipment is offered in several versions. It enables automatic applications for various processes, such as DC TIG with smooth or pulsed current, AC TIG with variable polarity, and DC plasma with smooth or pulsed current. The installation meets the highest quality standards for welding and productivity for industries as diverse as boiler making using stainless steels, aeronautics using noble metals, chemical engineering, energy production transformation and transport, and prefabrication of gas and petrol pipelines, etc.

The Nertamatic HPW plasma or TIG system is based on the same components as the Nertamatic. The only difference is that the control unit is changed by an industrial PC, allowing complete management of the machine starting from only one control panel. The HPW interface software is intuitive, user-friendly, and allows easy navigation, facilitating the dialogue between the machine and the operator. The flexibility of the welding to your production constraints is also a highlight. The HPW interface is divided according to the type of work to carry out in four indexes: configuration, programming, welding, and optimization.

Tungsten electrodes, electric nozzles, constricting nozzles, water and air nozzles, trailing shield, and gas trailers are all components used in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. TIG welding can be done with either twin High-Frequency (HF) ignition or dual flow, and can be used for better arc striking, keyhole plasma welding, or welding with an edge-to-edge current of up to mm. The standard electrode length is mm and can be easily replaced. Optional extras, such as gas trailers to protect welds in sensitive metals or magnetic arc oscillation for welding large grooves with automatic alignment, may also be used. A quick interface torch with quick connectors is also available. Industrial customers in various sectors, including automotive subcontracting, metal furniture manufacturing, agricultural machinery fabrication, and more, can benefit from the Air Liquide Welding group's personalized approach to optimizing productivity and flexibility through welding and cutting processes.

We offer a wide range of standard robotic installations, including the JUN R and SEN R models, which have been used to produce a variety of products using Air Liquide Welding robotic installations. Our Standard Robotic Cefis turnkey fork lift table robotic cell, equipped with two workstations, is easy to install and operate, making it the perfect tool for quickly welding a variety of steel parts. Our complete range of standard robotic cells includes flexible and productive solutions that can enhance your performance through a simple turnkey system. Equipped with two workstations, our workcells enable the operator to load and unload a workpiece on one side while the robot welds on the other, allowing for increased productivity. Our workcells are also pre-assembled and fork-liftable, reducing installation and setup time to just a few hours.

In addition, we offer flexible solutions that can be used for welding thousands of different parts, with or without external axis, and can be easily and quickly re-set to weld a different part. Our workcells are designed to boost the profitability of your project by providing simplicity and flexibility compared to highly complicated custom-tailored solutions. Robot programming is made easy through teaching pre-settings for welding processes, and station changeover is accomplished through a simple table rotation.

We also offer custom-made solutions that match your specific needs and go beyond to offer the best-suited solutions. Our range of kinematics components and manipulators are available to enhance robot reach and weld part positioning.

One major innovation in the world of automatic or robotic welding is the TOPTIG high productivity TIG welding process, which was developed in the Air Liquide Welding research centre. This new process can be used effectively on carbon or stainless steel plates up to mm, or on galvanized sheets with weld brazing. The TOPTIG welding process offers TIG quality welding and guaranteed spatter-free, good global productivity, excellent appearance of the weld bead, torch accessibility, flexible solutions, and reasonable cost.

The TOPTIG torch, which has been conventionally used, can only be positioned in front of the torch, causing issues with access, positioning, and reliability. TOPTIG equipment has been optimized by interfacing the torch with a high-quality wire feeder that provides precision wire feeding, along with an anti-collision device to prevent damage in case of a trajectory error. Depending on the application and welding current, an air-cooled or water-cooled torch nozzle, electrode size, and appropriate wear parts can be chosen. For robotic applications, the electrode changer and RC JOB permits a complete welding cycle to be programmed, thereby improving global productivity.
The NERTAMATIC power source and TOPWAVE digital high-precision power source provide precision and simplicity even for complex robotic applications. The DIG WAVE and CITOWAVE power sources ensure high performance and process control and traceability functions for welding quality. Air Liquide Welding offers a range of welding processes, including electron beam welding, which is recommended for large batch series or high-value-added components due to its high energy density and satisfactory mechanical characteristics. Air Liquide Welding has a long history of supplying electron beam power supplies, and its electron beam welding machines are extensively used in the automotive, aerospace, and small company industries.
