Schiess 20-25DSV machining centers

Schiess 20-25DSV Machining centers of compact design, model 20-25 DSV, have several features that allow for efficient machining of workpieces with cylindrical, prismatic, taper, or 30 contours. These machines have high flexibility in geometry and application, utilizing turning, boring, milling, and horizontal cross grinding technologies. The addition of a 3rd linear NC axis on the column of compact design permits eccentric boring, and a workpiece pallet system allows for milling operations and/or a tool magazine. This machining center can also be integrated into a manufacturing system.

The DSV models have a maximum machining diameter ranging from 1800mm to 2500mm, and a table/pallet diameter ranging from 1250mm to 2250mm. The horizontal cross rail movement on the Y-axis is 500mm. The machining height using the table or pallet is 1200mm or 1030mm respectively. The driving power for turning ranges from 56-71 kW, while the driving power for boring and milling is not specified.
