Schiess RAPID 4 Horizontal boring and milling centers

Schiess RAPID 4,5,6 Horizontal boring and milling centers are advanced machines used for precise metalworking. These machines achieve the highest positioning accuracy through automatic table indexing. They feature preloaded guideways for sustained accuracy and hydrostatic bearing systems for the spindle and ram, resulting in powerful stock removing capacity. The HYDRO-ROND compensation systems are also available for additional attachments, making the machines highly efficient.

The temperature-controlled headstock is automated, and the machines come with various additional attachments to minimize idle time. The RAPID 5, 20, 5CH1E55, and W0111N models have a high degree of flexibility and versatile applications due to their numerous extension modules with appropriate interfaces for stand-alone machines and machining centers.
