The tank production line develops the advanced manufacturing process, including steel sheet feeding, steel sheet edge milling, steel sheet butt welding, tank rolling, reforming, assembling, welding, and shaping to manufacture equipment automatically. It also develops a set of remote centralized control systems, which allows the manufacturing process formation, production planning and scheduling, production surveillance, and production and material management to be integrated into a control system.

The plasma arc welding that allows the seam to be welded by one side in shape by two sides is first used during production, which prevents leakage of the tank. In addition, it combines automation technology and information technology and uses a digital control system to control the tank manufacturing machines in production, such as CNC cutting machines, CNC edge milling machines, delivering and turning over machines, giant flat butt welding machines, CNC bending machines, giant hydraulic dished head configuring machines, no-template irregular dished head folding machines, automatic girth plasma arc welding machines for irregular-shaped tanks, roller transmission systems, welding sources, workpiece displacement mechanical devices, and transmission machinery.  

Besides, it allows the machines adopting digital control systems to be integrated into the remote centralized control system by using the fieldbus communication network with I/O distributed communication systems, which achieves the automatic tank production of remote control and enhances efficiency. The remote control system enters into the ERP system through network services, providing a strong information source for management and decision-making, making the company more competitive.  

It is applicable for the production of different kinds of tank trucks, such as tank trucks, fuel tank cars, power furnaces, chemical canisters, concrete cement stirred tanks, moisturizing cars, liquid tank trucks, bulk powder goods tank trucks, asphalt trucks, milk tankers, watering carts, oil distribution cars, and beer tankers.
