Smec PL 1600 G CNC lathe Better Tuaø is a high-speed, 600-degree slant type one-bed casting structure machine with a compact, efficient, and user-friendly design. There are two versions: the PL 1600G and the PL 1600CG. The swing over the bed is 540 mm for both machines, and the maximum machining diameter x length is 170 x 250 mm. The machines have different machining bar sizes and chuck sizes, and the spindle speed ranges from 4,000 to 6,000 rpm. The machines also have different spindle motors, rapid traverse speeds, axis travel distances, tool positions, shank sizes for square tools and boring bars, and required floor spaces. The machines are controlled by Fanuc Oi-Mate TD or Fanuc Oi-TD controllers.

Another machine, the PL 15, has a swing over bed of 450 mm and a maximum machining diameter x length of 300 x 300 mm. There are two versions of this machine as well: the PL 15L and the PL 20L. PL 2000MS, PL 2000Y, PL 2000SY, PL 2500Y, and PL 2500SY are models with a swing over the bed of 650mm and maximum machining diameter x length ranging from 354 x 460mm to 360 x 535mm. They have a maximum machining bar size of 66/36mm or 77/36mm and chuck sizes of 8/6 inches or 10/6 inches. The spindle speeds range from 3,500 to 4,000 rpm, and they have 12 BMT65 tool positions.

The Quiet Heat Design allows for a versatile automatic system line, and the Vertical lathe is developed for an automatic process line of automobile and electric parts. It maintains high accuracy in the long-term machining process. The PL 6VG R, L, and PL 250V R, L models have a swing over the bed of 540mm and maximum machining diameter x length ranging from 250 x 190mm to 430 x 280mm. They have chuck sizes of 6 or 8 inches and spindle speeds of 4,000 rpm.

The PL 800V R, L and PL 800VM R, L models are heavy-duty ultra-precision turning centers with a box-way design, a two-step gear box, and a servo-driven turret adopted. They have a swing over the bed of 890mm, maximum turning diameter x length of 810 x 800mm, and chuck sizes of 15, 18, 21, or 24 inches. The spindle speeds are 20,000 rpm, and they have 12/BMT75 tool positions.
