Plate bending machines with three rolls are useful tools for bending and shaping plates into cylindrical, conical or other curved shapes. One of the models is the Type BHW plate bending machine, which features hydraulic transversely movable bottom rolls and a hydraulically vertically adjustable top roll. This machine is recommended for working with wide plates, as the material can be bent horizontally on the bottom rolls and carried forward in this position after initial bending. The top and bottom rolls are driven by a hydrostatic drive, which provides a desired bending speed without the need for friction clutches. The bending speed is also steplessly adjustable from 0 6 m per minute. The 3 roll drive allows for smooth processing of even the thinnest and narrowest plates.
