The X- and Z-axis are mounted in the form of cross slides, and the workpiece table is firmly bolted to the machine. The machine base is made of Granitan mineral-casting, which ensures outstanding surface quality of the ground workpieces. The pretensioned hydrostatics and generous guide spacings provide stable and robust designs of the cross slide and wheelhead.
