Tongtai HB 500II Horizontal machining center The HB-50011 is a high-speed cam-type tool changing device that enhances machining efficiency by reducing non-cutting time. It is ideal for machining materials like aluminum alloy, cast iron, and steel, and is commonly used in industries such as automobile, construction machinery, agriculture machinery, and general parts.

Equipped with a 10,000 rpm built-in spindle that has a high power of 25/30 kW and high torque of 420 Nm, the HB-50011 offers high efficiency machining. The spindle's testing data shows that it has excellent depth/width, spindle speed, feed rate, and chip removal rate.

Additionally, the HB-50011 horizontal machining center provides high accuracy, as it has undergone testing for three-axes accuracy. The machine's linear scale is optional, but it helps compensate for positioning errors, repetition errors, and pitch errors of the ballscrew caused by temperature changes, providing a positioning accuracy of 3μm with compensation of linear scales.

To improve the machine's structure rigidity and reduce errors caused by thermal deformation, the HB-50011 has a double-wall and symmetrical structure that adopts 45mm high rigidity roller guide way and high precision ballscrew 040mm. The machine's main structure is integrated and made of high-quality cast iron, and the finite element analysis (FEA) is used to ensure static and dynamic rigidity.

The HB-50011 spindle has 100 mm ceramic bearings that generate 420 Nm torque at 500 rpm, making it ideal for heavy-duty cutting in cast iron or steel materials. The spindle cartridge is chilled with cooling fluid that is recirculated through it, and compressed air is led into the motor chamber to cool the motor.

Lastly, the HB-50011 has a B axis rotary table that uses high-precision positioning cones with hydraulic locking devices, generating 18 tons of clamping force to ensure table stability during machining. It also adopts a full-circle hydraulic braking system that provides high rigidity and durability during heavy-duty cutting. The machine's automatic pallet changer (APC) is designed to increase dynamic rigidity, and its PLC timers are optimized to ensure the machine's efficient operation.
