Tos WH 105 CNC horizontal boring machine

TOS HORIZONTAL BORING MACHINE - WH 105 CNC

The WH 105 CNC is a modern and efficient horizontal boring machine with continuous control. It offers high cutting parameters, an extended X coordinate, and a wide range of technological functions, making it versatile for various uses. The WH 105 CNC is a productive and highly advanced machine suitable for modern effective technologies. TOS VARNSDORF, established in 1903 and located in Varnsdorf, Czech Republic, is a renowned worldwide producer of horizontal boring machines. With long-term experiences of several generations of technicians and workers, their products are recognized for their high technical level and quality development and production. Since 1996, TOS VARNSDORF holds the ISO 9001 certificate confirming quality development and production.

The WH 105 CNC is a table-type horizontal boring machine with a fixed column, sliding spindle, and a cross-travel rotary table. It controls the machine in four continuously controlled axes X, Y, Z, W, and sets with independent digitally-controlled Siemens AC servo drives. The main motor for the spindle drive is also a digitally-controlled Siemens AC regulative drive. It enables linear interpolation in four axes simultaneously, circular interpolation in two axes, and helical interpolation.

The nitrate work spindle is fitted with minimum clearance in a nitrate hollow spindle with continuous electric lubrication. Measuring linear coordinates X, Y, Z is direct and done with the help of Heidenhain enclosed electric-optic encoders, measuring W and B coordinates is done by employing rotary sensors. The hollow spindle is fitted in an assembly of highly precise spindle angular-contact ball bearings. The table turning measuring is additionally equipped with an optic-measuring device for 4 x 90 positions. The basic linear guide-ways are hardened, and counterways are coated with low friction plastic. The outer guide-ways on the bed use linear roller bearings.

Optional features that can be ordered include CHZ 105 equipment for outer tool cooling, KM 105 foundation hardware kit, HF 50 A WH 105 vertical milling head, and feed drives of all four linear axes are equipped with ball shafts. After reaching a target position, axis X, Y, Z, U are fixed by hydraulic clamping.
