Retos Varnsdorf, a company in the Czech Republic, has been providing horizontal boring machine overhauls for over 40 years. They utilize modern technologies from their parent company TOs Varnsdorf. Their machines, such as the WHN9-CNC and WH10NC-CNC, feature a fixed column, crosswise traveling table, 4 linear axes, rotary table, and sliding work spindle. The machines are designed for universal use in engineering production and are suitable for both roughing and finishing. Optional features include tool magazine with manipulator ATC, tool cooling kit CHZ, cooling through spindle axis CHOV or oil-mist cooling, non-sliding work spindle up to 5000 rpm, or motor spindle as specified by the client. The machine's functions are controlled via the control panel, except for tool clamping and unclamping, which are controlled by switches on the headstock. The standard communication interface allows for connection with Ethernet for easy administration and distribution of technological programs, diagnostic or service works of the control system. The machines have HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 + handwheel control system and are powered by brushless digital servomotors.
