WMZ Looks Back at Over 40 Years of Successful Activities in Machine Construction

More than 40 years of successful production in the machine construction business. Through the development of the center drive concept, our product range expanded with a highly efficient technology to machine shaft parts. With the acquisition of the machine programs of Werkzeugmaschinenbau Sinsheim (WMS), Neue Magdeburger, and Heid, WMZ has integrated and further developed machine concepts that have been successfully used for many years.

Through affiliation with the DVS Group, WMZ has access to the latest technologies. We design and produce all mechanical key components of our products ourselves, ensuring high quality and delivery reliability at competitive costs.

WMZ: Shaft Machining - Flexible, Precise, Efficient

Our successful concepts rely on a modular building set system, allowing us to quickly respond to your specific requirements. With our machines, simultaneous complete machining with up to four tool systems in one chucking is possible. This results in shortened secondary times and halved primary processing times through the simultaneous machining of both ends. Additionally, loading and unloading times can be significantly reduced with our integrated automation systems.

The center-drive technology is especially suited for high requirements on running precisions of the right and left workpiece sides concerning entire concentric run-out, circularity, and coaxiality. For such applications, the center-drive technology is demonstrably unbeatable.

Technical Data of Our Series H 200

The series H 200 stands for the reduction of production time in machining smaller workpieces in larger volumes. With up to four tools in simultaneous machining, primary and secondary times can be reduced. Integrated loading and unloading units further shorten secondary times, achieving a reduction of processing time by 35%.

Technical Data of Our Series V 300

The series V 300 offers versatility and convenience through short loading and unloading times and simultaneous machining with multiple tools. It is particularly suitable with center-drive heads if only both ends need to be machined, allowing complete machining in one clamping.
