components which, often, requíre on y partíal surface machíning.
Also, conventíonal manual operator control ïs more economíc in
süch app ícatíons. On a foundation plate area in front of the facep ate which ís desígned to rotate about its horízontal axis, has proved ú be the trüe approach in a thousand app. DP lathes are capable of doíng more than just facing jobs.
