Basic Mechanism

Robust Bed Construction
In order to assure heavy-duty machining and optimized chip flow, the machine base body is designed and streamlined. The small footprint helps you systematize your manufacturing plan plot in your factory.

Robust Column Construction
The wide hardened and ground boxways reduce vibration, promoting better tool life and surface finishes. The boxways are turcite-coated, which allows for 787 ipm rapid traverse rates. The balanced counterweight located inside the column neutralizes the gravity effect on the vertical and also conserves electricity and prevents turret drop during an emergency stop or power failure. All axis slides are induction hardened and ground to HRC 55 hardness. Long-term accuracies are very basic requirements on door-in-door products.
Three adjustable gibs on each axis slide are provided to maintain long-term accuracy and easy maintenance.

High-Performance Spindle Turret
The spindle is supported by a V12 turret and is ground to finish for double-row tapered roller zero accuracy. The turret has large bearings in the top and bottom of three-piece curvic couplings. The spindle, while angular, provides tremendous accuracy and heavy-duty radial load capability. The cartridge cutting can be achieved. The spindle is axially symmetric, and the 12-station turret holds ID or OD tools, providing very stable accuracy all day long, even when the spindle is heated up by continuous operation.

Safety Cover Easy Operation
The swing arm on the main operation panel is a user-friendly feature to minimize the distance from part to operator’s panel during setup.
The narrow vertical panel is a space-saving design.
The handy sub-operation panel beside the door features double steel covers. Each spindle has cycle start, feed hold, emergency stop, and door open/close switches.
