ECKOLD Flangíng Tool type BW
The flanging tool type BW is designed to form the fIanges of sheet metal plates, segments, hollow components and tubes of inedium and large sízes. The shape of the movable hammer and the conture plate anvil of the flangíng tool does correspond to the exact geometríc form and the dímensíons of the requíred flange material gauge, flange radius and flange heíght . Wíth everyworkíng stroke ofthe upper ram of the Kraftformer Machine the flangíng tool carríes out a flangíng operatíon on the ímmedíate zone of the workpíece edge closed-ín by the tool. By arranging a large number of such flanging operations in seríes and símultaneously hand
controllíng the feed the requíred length of edge can be flanged, no matter whether the conture is symmetric or not.
Both the hammer and the conture plate anvíl are interchangeable for dífferent  flange radii and gauges. Holdíng devíces are preventíng dístortíonson otherworkpіece areas. Guídíng stops and templets together wíth a centeríng device guarantee a neat, accurate and economic seríal productíon.
