Creating a programme
The creation of a programme in PLAY BACK mode is the same as in
EDITING mode except that the axes can be moved by means of the
JOG keys. The axis coordinate values are displayed in the lower
part of the screen.
In a block which only contains the coordinates of one point,
after using the JOG keys to move the axes, press ENTER and the
coordinates of the point will be stored in the memory.
If in addition to the coordinates of a point it is desired to
write into the block further information such as G,s,M,T
functions etc., each time the key of the corresponding axis is
pressed the CNC will take as the value of the axis the
coordinate at which the machine is at that moment. This method
of editing is highly practical when creating a program for
copying a part using functions G08 and G09.
When G08 has been written into a block requiring ít, use the
JOG keys to move the machine to the final point of the tangent
aгc to the previoüs path, then press ENTER and the block will
be stored in the memory. When G09 has been written into a block
which requires it, use the JOG keys to move the machíne to an
intermediate point on the arc and press the ENTER key. The CNC
wi11 take th2 coordinates as those of the intermediate point on
the arc. Then move the machine to the final poínt of the arc
and once the ENTER key has been pressed the block will be
stored in the memory.
NOTE:
If the value 1 is entered in the machine-parameter P104 3 , the
START input ís equivalent to ENTER key in PLAY-BACK operating
mode.

Entire graphícs or parts of them can be enlarged or reduced by
this feature.
To use this functíon the program must be either interrupted or
completed.
Press the key which corresponds to the view in which the
zooming is desired. Then press NEXT.
A rectangle identifying the window wi11 be displayed over the
existing graphic. Its dimensions can be altered pressing O or 0
and its position by using keys 8,2,4 and 6.
The coordinate values of the wíndow s centre are displayed at
the top of the CRT. The width and the percentage, at the
bottom. The dísplay of there values can be useful to check the
coordinate values of a particular poínt by placing the centre
of the window over ít and also to measure distances between
two points.
If 5 ís pressed, the wíndowed area will fill the CRT.
iJsing the FEED-RATE override switcłı, táe graphic drawing speed
caп be altered.
To repeat the whole sequence, start by pressíng NEXT.
To exit the zoom mode and continue, press CL.
Redefinition of the display aгea by zooming
Wíth the zoom function active press NEXT. The position and
width of the rectangle override the previous values gíven to
the display area when it has been defined.
The positíon and the size of the graphic can thus be altered.
Erasure of graphics
Prεss DELETE to erase the graphic displayed, once the program
has been executed or interrupted.
NOTE:
The CNC stores information on the last 500 blocks involving
movement executed. If the program has more than 500 movement
blocks on1y the last 500 will be displayed in zoom Øode.

4. ERROR CODES
Code Meaníng
001 If N is not the first character of a block.
If running the execution of a program, while another
program is being modified background programming , a
subroutine located in the program being modified or
in a subsequent program, is called from the program
in execution. The programs are stcred as they are
entered. Their order can be seen in Program mapping.
The program being executed is always shifted to the
ist position. If duríng the execution of a program,
another program with a number not previosly stored in
the memory, this situation cannot arise.
002 Too many digits to define a function.
003 Negative value or parameter allocat2d to a function
which cannot accept minus sign. Incorrect value given
to a canned cycle parameter.
004 Programming of fixed cycle in circular ínterpolation.
005 Incorrгctly written parametric block.
006 More than 10 parameters affected in a block.
007 Division by zero.
008 square root of a negative number.
009 Parameter greater than 2i6 assigned to a function, or
value greater than 264 assigned to a parametric.

011 More than seven M functions in the same bïock.
012 Incorrect block with G50 or values of I or K for
tool offsets equal or greater than microns.
013 Canned cycle not properly defined.
014 An incorrect block has been programmed, which ìs
either itself incorrect or incorrect in to
the sequence of the program to date.
015 If in the same block any other G function has been
defined,besides
G20,G21,G22,G23,G24,G25,G26,G27,G28,G29,G30,G31,
G32,G50,G53-G59,G72,G73,G74,G92 or G93 if it goes
with I,J which have to stand alone in a block.
016 The subroutine called for does not exist.
017 Too high or negative threadcutting pitch.
Page 6
018 Wrong definicion when a pcint is defined Ьy
angle+angie or angle plus cartesian value.
019 If after defining G20,G21,G22 or G23 there is no
subroutine number to which it refers or too many
nesting levels. N is not the character after
G25,G26,G27,G28,G29.
020 An axis has been programmed which does not carrespond
with the p1ane selected in certain functions,

022 In programming the axes in G74, any of the axes is
repeated.
023 K has not been programmed after G04.
024 Lacking decimal point in formats or
025 rror in a blocv defining or calling a subroutine or
a sub-program, or a jump.
026 Nerncry capacity overrun.

threadcutting.
02г3 A too]. in the table has been defined as having a
Zumber greater than or an externai toul
greater than the maximum defined by machine
parametеr.
029 Too high a value in a function or This code

Page 5Ï
032 Tool radíus value too large.
033 A movement greater than 8388 mm or inches has
been programmed.
Example:
- Let us suppose that the machine is at coordinate
X - 5 000.
- A block is programmed with X 5 The
movement is 10
- The correct programming would be:
G05 XO
X5
The programming of G05 prevents the machine from
stopping on passing through XO

038 G72,G73 not properly programmed.
Rгmember that:
If functions G72 is applied to only one axis, the
latter must be at the orígin value 0 at the tíme
when the scale factor is applied. If function G73
rotation of the system of coordinates is programmed
and the programming is done in absolute cartesian
coordinates, the reference values of the two axes of
the p1ane where the rotation takes place have to be
written even íf neither of them has any moveØent.

sub-routines. A jump to itself has been programmed in
a block.
040 The circle programmed does not pass through the final
point defined. Tolerance 10 microns . The are
defined by G08 or G09 does not exist.

parameters.
110 Error in X axis leadscrew error compensation
parameters.
NOTE: There are two types of errors:
1 Errors identified in the errors table bv an
asterisk , they disactivate enables and cancel
the analogue outputs.
2 Errors identified by two asteriskes ; besides
the previous functions, they activate the
EMERGENCY output, setting the CNC to initial
conditions.
The errors
094,095 ,096 ,097 ,098 ,099 ,107 ,108 ,109 ,
110 are originated by a CHECKSUM ERROR in their
relevant area tools-table, parameters, M-table,
leadscrew compensation parameters .
The CHECKSUM ERROR usual cause is ari anomally in the
battery, generating a loss of the recorded values. To
reset the normal operation.
Enter again the tool-table, machine-parameter, the
decode M functions table, the leadscrew
compensation parameters, according to th2 code
displayed by the CNC.
Keep the CNC on, for 4-5 hours, to enable the
battery to recover the proper voltage level.
