The FAGOR 8010 T Numerical Control System

The FAGOR 8010 T control is designed to provide a solution to a wide range of applications in machines where, until now, numerical controls could not be considered due to reasons of price and space.

Its sophisticated technology and software capacity offer an unparalleled price-performance ratio combined with simplicity and flexibility of use.

Design
The control is mounted in a compact cabinet suitable for easy inclusion in the control pendant or any other part of the machine.

The use of microprocessors, together with the most advanced LSI electronic circuits, allows the integration of a large range of functions, significantly reduces the number of electronic components and connections, minimizes the risk of failures, simplifies machine incorporation, and allows efficient troubleshooting to reduce servicing requirements.

Commissioning
This is considerably simplified by keyboard input and screen display of machine parameters.
A digital display is provided to show the state of the interconnection signals with the machine's interface.

Features

The auto-test system detects any failures in the numerical operation, displaying them on the panel via numerical codes. This, combined with the design of connectable modular circuits, enables quick and easy troubleshooting.

Joystick controls allow each axis to move in continuous mode or in increments ranging from 1 to 10 mm.

A manual pulse generator permits the machine to be driven manually, with the increment value selectable.

The programmed feed rates can be adjusted between 0 and 120.

An 8-inch CRT display provides information with several characters up to 10 mm in height.

The keyboard is used to enter numerical data and select various options in the menu mode.

Manual data input is carried out through a dialogue between the control and the operator.

APPLICATION МА ТЕNАNСЕ

The control, by means of the screen, requires the data to be registered. Mode select keys are displayed according to the activated operating modes in the MENU.

Once the operator is familiar with the programming procedure, the dialogue can be deleted or suppressed. These keys allow the programmed spindle speeds to be altered between 50 and 120.

FAGOR 8010 T HIGH VISIBILITY LEVEL - ALL INFORMATION DISPLAYED

In this numerical control, the part-program can be input in four operating modes:

  • PLAY-BACK
  • TEACH-IN
  • EDITOR
  • OUTPUT-INPUT

The screen, with its different display formats, provides continuous monitoring of the machine's state and the variables of the program being executed. It also allows access to various internal parameters and tables.

It offers different execution modes:

  • JOG
  • SINGLE BLOCK
  • AUTOMATIC
  • DRY-RUN

GRAPHICS A powerful zoom feature permits the enlargement of any graphic details displayed on the screen.

FAGOR 8010 T – EASY PROGRAMMING

The 8010 T is a sophisticated numerical control system, yet it is designed for simple programming. The inclusion of the assisted mode helps operators, even those unfamiliar with the control, become quickly proficient with the standard programming format.

Minimum instructions are required to program:

Absolute or incremental programming

Subroutines and parametric subroutines for repetitive operations

Canned cycles

Linear, circular interpolations, and threading

Geometric aides for programming:

Circle drawn from radius

Circle tangential to a trajectory

Circle drawn from 3 points

Controlling rounding off of edges

Tangential inputs and outputs

Chamfering

Polar coordinates

Intersection point from two angles and end point.
