Fasti 904 hydraulic press brakes

Fasti 904 hydraulic press brakes

FASTI stands for optimal solutions in the complex sheet metal working industry. With reason! At FASTI, the general rule is: maximum flexibility in design and state-of-the-art technology in production. The results are sophisticated machines that meet the highest quality standards and match the needs of the user. Also characteristic for FASTI is its wide product range and professional, application-specific advice, with optimal solutions for all kinds of jobs. Choose FASTI, and you have opted for a leading supplier of sheet metal working machines with the highest skill and many years of experience.

This series covers Hydraulic Press Brakes with two cylinders. The vertical guide consists of solid bronze plates guided along hardened and ground, adjustable steel rails. Hydroelectronic synchronization control ensures exact parallelism of the upper beam.

The upper beam can be inclined by ± 10 mm to compensate any sheet thickness tolerances and produce conical bends.

The Hydraulic Press Brake 904 has a motorized back gauge with an adjustment range of 600 mm (X axis). Among the standard features of the back gauge are ball screw spindles and two gauge supports with vertically adjustable gauge fingers, one of which is fitted with a micrometer screw for fine adjustment at right angles to the bending line.

CNC control DA-21 is standard in the FASTI 904, but the unit is also available with CNC control DA-24 or DA58 along with color-graphics screen and automatic bending sequence calculation as well as DA-59 for designing 3D parts.

The wide control options in the FASTI program are shown in a separate leaflet.

The 904 series FASTI Press Brakes are known as very user friendly and do not require special knowledge of programming. The positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm proves high precision.

The standard program includes pressing capacities from 500 kN up to 10,000 kN and working lengths from 1,550 mm up to 6,050 mm. But on request, you can have many different machines, tailor-made. We are willing to assist you during the processing if the right configuration is needed, for example, tandem press brakes.

Press cycle:
The working stroke can be started by two-hand operating panel, by pedal, or by the optional convenient light guard. At the beginning of the downward stroke, the upper beam rapidly lowers from the individually programmable start position to the shifting stop. Then, the actual press cycle is initiated at a reduced speed to the preselected or calculated lower dead point.

Here, positioning accuracy is ±0.01 mm. Depending on the preset data, you can now set either an idle time at the lower dead point or a release travel during return, before the upper beam returns to its start position.

Details:
The cylinders and upper beam are sturdily linked by ground pins connected to the upper beam. The upper beam can be inclined by ±10 mm to compensate any sheet thickness tolerances.

Strong vertical guides and adapter rail:
Two vertical guides ensure stable guidance for the upper beam. The faces are hardened and ground and mounted on the lateral frames. The upper beam guiding rails are in bronze. The upper beam has no crowning; this can be in the adapter rail to compensate any deflection of the upper and bottom beams.

Comprehensive safety:
All functional areas of the machine are secured by electrically controlled protective devices located at the sides and at the back. These systems rule out virtually all risks for the operator when the machine is operating.

A protective fence or optional light guards protect the rear machine area.

Two-hand operation:
The standard two-hand operating panel with pedal switch supplied with the FASTI Hydraulic Press Brakes ensures the level of safety required. Here, the safety distance in conjunction with the stop time of the FASTI Hydraulic Press Brakes apply to the latest safety requirements. For the front machine area, a practical light guard (optional) is also available as an alternative to the two-hand operating panel.

Obligatory safety stop is 6 mm above sheet thickness before the upper tool touches the workpiece in the consciously started pressing cycle.

Measuring systems:
All FASTI Hydraulic Press Brakes come with a high-resolution digital measuring system and efficient electronics. The measuring system and electronics read the position and speed of the upper beam. The 904 model has two-sided measuring systems.

The CNC controlled FASTI 904 features C-Frames which operate along with precisely resolved MM synchronization control. The corresponding measuring systems neutralize any influence of press frame expansion. They form a reliable measuring system for recording upper beam synchronization under load. The position signals of the measuring systems (for upper beam movement) are transmitted to the electronic control of the Press Brake FASTI 904, where exact synchronization is subject to continuous monitoring.

Inclination adjustment for material compensation:
The electronic control ensures synchronized running of the upper beam, both with parallel setting and with a deliberate inclined setting, up to +10 mm. The information flow is to the proportional valves of the hydraulic unit, which control the upper beam movements. Measuring system, electronics, and proportional valves ensure exact parallelism and repeating accuracy in the operation.

The standard scope of supply of FASTI Hydraulic Press Brakes includes two adjustable locating brackets with scale, laterally displaceable in T-slots and adjustable in height and depth. Also available is a range of optional special locating brackets.

Sliding guides for the locating brackets ensure trouble-free easy lateral displacement in positioning the material. The locating brackets have mechanical adjustment of height and depth. Locating brackets with pneumatic height adjustment can be custom-built.

The standard stop brackets can be fitted with mechanical or pneumatic adjustable stops. In addition, with DA-24, DA-58, and DA-59 special bending aids are available to supplement the locating brackets, which swivel up during the bending operation to prevent the "contra bend".

The FASTI Hydraulic Press Brake 904 features a motorized back gauge. Together with the CNC controls DA-24, DA-58, or DA-59, this creates additional options for symmetric and asymmetric adjustments in various axes:

- Asymmetric height adjustment of R1/R2 axes: +100 mm or -50 mm.
- Symmetric lateral adjustment of the Z-axis.
- Asymmetric lateral adjustment of the Z1- and Z2-axes.
- Asymmetric depth adjustment of the X1- and X2-axes.
- Individual adjustment of the X3 axis and a gauge finger (1100 mm).

Also available for FASTI Hydraulic Press Brakes with manually adjustable R axis (standard) is a sheet support with adjustable brackets, ensuring reliable support for the material.

Press brakes fitted with motorized gauge supports (R/Z axes) are also available with pneumatic sheet support brackets of 250 mm length directly fitted to the gauge supports. These are suitable for connecting into the function cycle of the CNC.

Additionally, three-piece gauge fingers with pneumatically adjustable top and bottom parts are available on request as optional accessories.
