The FM 5.1b is an incredibly flexible SPC control system designed for mechanical folders equipped with up to 6 controlled axes, including the clamping beam, folding beam, backgauge, and crowning. It ensures economical and efficient utilization of the machine, facilitating swift setup for new parts.

The following inputs are supported, depending on the machine's configuration:

- Sheet thickness and mark-stop input
- Opening stroke of the clamping beam
- Bending angle and correction of bending angle
- Crowning adjustment
- Position of motorized backgauge

With the input of sheet thickness, adjustments of the folding and lower beams (if available as a machine option) are automatically calculated.
