The use of quality perlìtic cast iron is employed for the production of all major components of our SRA plane surface grinders. These are of generously ribbed rigid box section design and provide necessary damping and stability required for this type of high technology application. The "T" shape main bed holds the whole moving column, the grinding torque being stable nevertheless the transverse position of the grinding wheel.

The machine is managed by a latest generation FANUC CNC panel, with the complete package including motors, drivers, regulators, etc., all integrated from the same brand. 

The system features easy-to-use graphic programming and a touch screen, providing user-friendly machine operation even for less experienced personnel. 

Dressing is automatically performed on the table at a fixed dressing post, with automatic compensation for wheel size. 

The CNC can manage very precisely both vertical and transverse axes. 

The machine is able to dress some predefined profiles. 

The software can be adapted to meet the specific needs of every customer.
